The tier only sets how many horses the yard holds. Every feature is on every tier — a ten-horse yard gets the same app as a sixty-horse one.
Two things yards ask first
Are my owners on my bill? No. Hoofiness is free for an owner with one horse, which is all they need to see their own horse's record alongside what your yard logs. If they want more, they upgrade themselves.
Do you touch my livery income? No. Invoices carry your yard's own payment details and your customers pay you directly.

What we will never charge for
- The vet summary PDF. It is free on every plan, including the free one, because the moment you need it is not the moment to meet a paywall.
- Reading what you already recorded. If a subscription lapses you keep every record and keep reading it — you lose sharing, sync and cloud storage, not your history.
- A memorial profile. When a horse dies, their record stays free forever, and every reminder for them stops immediately.

When can I subscribe?
At launch. Both apps are coming to iPhone and Android and are not on the stores yet, so there is nothing to subscribe to today. Join the waitlist and you will know the day that changes — and you will know the price before you are ever asked to pay it.
What do I get for free?
The whole record for one horse on one device: health records of every type, medication courses and the dose log, reminders, weight and body condition, the symptom diary with its photo timeline, feed, allergies, documents, the photo album, memorial mode, and the printable vet summary PDF. It works offline and nothing you record is ever taken away.
What does Hoofiness Cloud add?
Unlimited horses, sharing a horse with sharers, grooms and family with the access you choose, sync across every device you own, cloud backup, photographs and documents in the cloud rather than only on one phone, and live updates when someone else logs something. £9.99 a month.
How is the yard app priced?
By how many horses your yard holds, in three fixed tiers: Starter covers up to 10 horses at £34.99 a month, Yard covers up to 25 at £69.99, and Estate covers up to 60 at £119.99. All prices include VAT and every tier has unlimited staff. There is no per-horse charge — within your tier, taking on a new livery does not change the bill.
What happens if my yard outgrows its tier?
You move up a tier. Nothing is lost and nothing is charged in arrears; you change the subscription the same way you would any other. If you are above 60 horses, get in touch and we will work out what makes sense.
Do my owners have to pay for the yard app to work?
No. Hoofiness is free for an owner with one horse, and that free app is enough for them to see their own horse's record alongside what your yard logs. If they want more than one horse, or to share with a sharer or family, they can upgrade to Hoofiness Cloud themselves — that is their choice and their bill, not yours.
What happens to my records if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. You keep everything you recorded and you keep reading it. What lapses is the paid capability — sharing, sync and cloud storage — not the history. Memorial profiles stay free regardless.
Will there be a free trial?
Yes. We will confirm the length before anyone is asked to pay, and waitlist members hear it first.
